Nerf Clairen Jab#942

This move gives too high reward for its safety and option coverage. Clairen jab is able to quickly hit the ground and short hop while being too low lag to feasibly full hop landing aerial to hit it during its endlag. It’s also fairly safe on shield, CC and floor hug due to its range.

This feels especially oppressive if the Clairen player uses baby dash jab in neutral as they don’t move far enough forward to reliably dash or wavedash shield it to make it unspaced enough to punish. There isn’t good counterplay to babydash jab except having longer disjointed range (very rare) and projectiles (not great in this game).

On top of all of this, it is arguably the best combo starter in the game. It combos at low percent into grab, being Clairen’s best combo starter. It combos at high percent into tipper smash attacks to kill even on DI away.

After the dtilt nerf, jab outclasses dtilt quite a bit now. Dtilt low has lower lag (17 compared to 20) and has slightly more range, but jab hits short hops and has significantly higher reward. This makes jab much more favourable to use except in match ups where the opponent approaches very grounded (like ranno).

I believe either the reward should be reduced or it should be less safe.
