
In tournaments, if you win the previous game, you have to select your character first. Could we implement something like this for the ranked ladder? I understand that having this be a staggered select is probably very hard to implement given the current game structure, but could the winner’s character choice be visible but the loser’s hidden?

Not necessarily, in normal games you can see the opponents pick and they can see yours whilst in the lobby. All that needs to happen in ranked is if you won the last game, your pick becomes visible and the opponents is still hidden and vice versa if you lose.

The first solution would require a rework i agree, thats why i mentioned that in the original post

The winner of the previous match should be locked to the character they picked.

This doesn’t need to happen, the loser just needs to be able to see the winners pick
