Move List#777
While I know there will be advacned tutorials, and i’m sure character tutorials will roll out throughout 2026 to 2027, I think having a basic movelist would greatly help people to get a good understanding of who they are playing as and what they do if they are new to the game, especially since some characters have quirks about them that some players may not know about like canceling moves with shield, such as Orcane Up B or Kragg Side B.
I know there are videos, but 1. the game itself has no link to these, and 2. they maybe outdated in the future, espeically if the character gets a rework, and you cannot expect people to just look up those 101’s on their own.
These movelist should only talk about specials and other unique quirks to the character. And if a character is reworked in the future, then you can update that information through a movelist.
I agree, character move lists are a super important resource, and even when character tutorials come out, move lists would still get a lot of use. It’s a great way for people to learn about what other characters are capable of without having to play through an entire tutorial.
The videos are nice, but having people watch a YouTube video to learn how to play a character is a pretty clunky solution, and it’d be nice to let people learn without having to leave the game or requiring an internet connection.
There is a move list in the form of a Steam page with images that is linked under the New Player Guides link in-game. It has a limited description length for each move that doesn’t get into details for more complicated moves, though.
@Songbird Yeah, those move lists are nice, but I agree, they could be expanded, and I don’t think it works for players with Steam overlay off, and it feels kind of clunky to just link to somewhere else. It’d be nice if they were just in the game itself somewhere, maybe even viewable in training mode.

Also you have to consider consoles as well once the game is on them, having a move list in the game imo is very much needed
