
Im not really a big fan of the universal rivals 2 wavedash sound. It can make them game, especially when it comes to movement and wavedashing feel very scratchy for lack of a better word.
In rivals 1 each character had a unique wavedash sound and they all sounded amazing, especially oris, zetterburns and rannos. Sound design is increadibly important to me personally on making a game feel great to move around in and rivals 1 succeeded. I feel that rivals 2 would be alot more enjoyable in the movement department if these unique sounds existed instead of the more scratchy sound.
